Job Summary
Kendrick Recruitment is now seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Stock Controller for a luxury safari lodge situated within the iconic Kruger National Park. This live-in role offers the chance to be part of a high-end hospitality team, supporting efficient operations through accurate and effective inventory management.
Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and manage stock levels across all lodge departments
-
Receive, inspect, and record incoming stock deliveries
-
Ensure accurate logging of all goods received and issued
-
Conduct regular stock takes and audits to maintain inventory accuracy
-
Report and investigate stock discrepancies
-
Work closely with department heads to forecast and manage stock usage
-
Maintain organized and clean stockrooms and storage areas
-
Enforce stock control procedures and ensure adherence to company policies
-
Monitor expiration dates, damages, and wastage to minimize loss
-
Assist in compiling monthly stock reports for management review
Requirements:

Previous experience in a stock control or inventory management role (hospitality/lodge experience preferred)

Strong administrative and organizational skills
-
High attention to detail and accuracy
-
Proficient in stock management software and Microsoft Excel
-
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
-
Excellent communication skills
-
Willingness to live and work in a remote bush environment
