Job Summary

Inbound luxury Destination Management Company (DMC) is looking for an experienced Inbound Tour Consultant to join their team based in the East of Gauteng.Experience required:Experience as an Inbound Tour Consultant with a minimum of 3-4 years working in the luxury inbound travel marketMinimum of 3-4 years of proven experience in luxury inbound travel as a consultantExceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with high-profile clients & agentsKnowledge of luxury travel destinations, accommodations, and experiences in Southern and/or East AfricaExcellent written and verbal command of the English languageProficiency in Tourplan is essentialGood general computer skillsCrisis management and problem-solving skillsAttention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to handle high volumes of work without compromising on accuracyWorking with a sense of urgency and meeting deadlines.Duties include:Planning, quoting and designing journeys throughout Southern and East Africa timeously and accuratelyManaging all aspects of tours from quoting through to post-tour file closureEnsuring your in-country guest tours run smoothly and without errorBeing on call for your in-country guests after hours while they are travellingTour administration to be maintained and accurateBooking all services for your toursCoordinating all invoicing / payments for your tours with accountsReconfirmation of all services prior to travel.
