Role: Tax Secretarial Clerk (Admin-Focused) Location: Hermanus

To be discussed What Youll Do: Take charge of admin-heavy responsibilities focused on managing all tax-related correspondence, including SARS, VAT, and Payroll correspondence with SARS. Use your eFiling experience to process and track submissions. Maintain bio registers and ensure compliance with Financial Intelligence Centre (FIC) requirements as the reportable entity (RE). Keep the team on track by managing electronic communication and handling external tax matters efficiently. Collaborate with internal team members while focusing primarily on external communication through email and other platforms. Who You Are: You have experience working in an accounting practice, which gives you a solid foundation in tax-related admin. You love admin work and can juggle multiple tasks with ease, staying organized and efficient even when things get busy. You have strong computer skills and are comfortable using platforms like SARS eFiling. Youre detail-focused, ensuring compliance with bio registers and FIC regulations. Youre a team player but also enjoy working independently, with most of your communications being external and electronic rather than client-facing. What You Bring: Experience in tax-related admin, eFiling, and compliance. Knowledge of bio registers and FIC regulations is a bonus. A proactive mindset, able to manage a high-volume workload with minimal supervision. Excellent written communication skills and a knack for keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.
