What You’ll Do:
- Take charge of admin-heavy responsibilities focused on managing all tax-related correspondence, including SARS, VAT, and Payroll correspondence with SARS.
- Use your eFiling experience to process and track submissions.
- Maintain bio registers and ensure compliance with Financial Intelligence Centre (FIC) requirements as the reportable entity (RE).
- Keep the team on track by managing electronic communication and handling external tax matters efficiently.
- Collaborate with internal team members while focusing primarily on external communication through email and other platforms.
Who You Are:
- You have experience working in an accounting practice, which gives you a solid foundation in tax-related admin.
- You love admin work and can juggle multiple tasks with ease, staying organized and efficient even when things get busy.
- You have strong computer skills and are comfortable using platforms like SARS eFiling.
- You’re detail-focused, ensuring compliance with bio registers and FIC regulations.
- You’re a team player but also enjoy working independently, with most of your communications being external and electronic rather than client-facing.
What You Bring:
- Experience in tax-related admin, eFiling, and compliance.
- Knowledge of bio registers and FIC regulations is a bonus.
- A proactive mindset, able to manage a high-volume workload with minimal supervision.
- Excellent written communication skills and a knack for keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.
