About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Guide to join our team at Hluhluwe, working in a remote Big 5 lodge environment. As a Field Guide with Bright Placements (PTY) Ltd, you will have the opportunity to share your passion for wildlife and conservation with guests from around the world.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct guided tours and activities in the Hluhluwe reserve
- Provide excellent guest service and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and staff
- Participate in conservation efforts and contribute to the lodge’s sustainability initiatives
- Collaborate with other team members to deliver exceptional guest experiences
Requirements
- FGASA Field Guide qualification (minimum Level 1; Level 2 advantageous)
- Valid PDP and driver’s licence
- First Aid Level 1 (minimum)
- Experience guiding in a Big 5 reserve (preferred)
- Clear criminal record
