Job Description
- Education:
- Diploma/Degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or related field.
- Additional training in Business Management or F&B advantageous.
- Experience:
- Minimum 5–7 years lodge/hotel management experience, with at least 3 years in a senior role at a 5-star game lodge.
- Strong track record in luxury guest service, operations, and staff leadership.
- Experience managing multicultural teams in a remote environment.
- Skills & Attributes:
- Strong financial and administrative management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Guest-centric mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and in a remote, rural environment.
- Computer literate (MS Office, reservations systems such as Opera, Panstrat, or similar).
- Hands-on, proactive, and adaptable.
- Knowledge of Zulu culture and fluency in English (Zulu/Afrikaans advantageous).
- Other Requirements:
- Driver’s license and ability to operate lodge vehicles.
- Willingness to live on-site in Mkuze area.
- Passion for wildlife, conservation, and authentic safari experiences.
