About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver warm, professional, and personalised guest service
• Assist guests in selecting high-quality, meaningful purchases
• Confidently share the conservation story behind selected products
• Process transactions accurately and discreetly
• Arrange packaging and international courier shipments where required
• Manage daily operations of both Curio shop outlets
• Maintain immaculate visual merchandising standards
• Conduct regular stock counts and reconciliations
• Monitor sales performance and identify opportunities for growth
• Ensure pricing accuracy and strong margin control
• Source and order merchandise aligned with luxury and conservation values
• Build and maintain supplier relationships
• Inspect deliveries for quality and accuracy
• Ensure optimal stock levels based on occupancy trends

Requirements

Previous retail experience (luxury retail preferred)

Hospitality or lodge experience highly advantageous

Strong organisational and administrative skills

Basic financial understanding (mark-ups, margins, stock control)

Computer literacy (POS systems, MS Office)

Excellent command of English; additional languages advantageous

Valid driver’s license preferred
