<h2>Job Title: Guide for Back-Up or Full Trails</h2><h3>Location:</h3><p>This position is based in Democratic Republic of Congo.</p><h3>Job Type:</h3><p>This is a permanent position, working 3 months on 1 month off.</p><h3>Primary Industry:</h3><p>Full time Guiding guests from 4 – 14 night stay moving from camp to camp with the guests.</p><h3>Secondary Industry:</h3><p>Travel, Leisure, Tourism, and Hospitality.</p><h3>Job Duties:</h3><ul><li>Leading guests on walks, boating, kayaking and Game Drives in the jungle.</li><li>Interpreting what is being seen and discovering untouched Jungle.</li><li>Assisting with logistics and coordination of trail activities.</li><li>Maintaining a high level of customer service and satisfaction throughout the journey.</li><li>Handling any issues or emergencies that may arise during the trails.</li></ul><h3>Required Qualifications:</h3><ul><li>Valid first aid certification.</li><li>Excellent communication (French is advantagous however not a must) and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Ability to work effectively in a team environment.</li><li>Strong knowledge of walking safaris and outdoor activities.</li></ul><h3>Education:</h3><p>A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required.</p><p>FGASA level 1,2 or 3 will be accepted. Back-up or full trails is a must</p><h3>Experience:</h3><p>Prior experience in guiding is a must.</p><h3>Knowledge and Skills:</h3><ul><li>Knowledge of outdoor safety procedures and protocols.</li><li>Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.</li><li>Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.</li></ul><h3>Preferred Qualifications:</h3><ul><li>Certification in outdoor leadership or related field.</li><li>Experience in customer service roles within the travel and tourism industry.</li></ul><h3>Working Conditions:</h3><p>The role involves working outdoors in various weather conditions and may require physical exertion. </p>
