About the Role

Our vibrant and luxurious 5* Game Lodge, located close to Hoedspruit, is seeking a skilled Receptionist to join our team. As a key member of our front office, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless guest experiences, managing bookings, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Guest check-ins: ensuring smooth transitions for guests and adhering to lodge standards.
Guest check-outs: leaving a lasting positive impression on guests until their departure.
Contacting guests before they arrive, if necessary, and obtaining important information.
Update of the day sheet: retrieving all necessary details to complete the day sheet for the next day.
Check and respond to all emails pertaining to reception enquiries, and forward enquiries relating to other departments to the relevant HOD.
Review reservations, and escalate any issues raised.

Requirements

Grade 12 Diploma / Degree relevant to the field of Hospitality.
At least 2 years experience in a Reception / Front Office role at a 4 / 5* property.
Ability to work collaboratively and build confidence and buy-in with multiple stakeholders.
Strong ability to execute capabilities.
Leadership and the ability to develop subordinates.
Ability to work independently.

Qualifications

Grade 12 Diploma / Degree relevant to the field of Hospitality
