Job Summary
- Education: Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or Hospitality Management with a financial focus.
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of accounting or finance experience, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Software Proficiency: Experience with accounting software (e.g., Pastel, QuickBooks, Sage) and restaurant POS systems (e.g., Micros, GAAP).
- Skills:
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping
- Knowledge of food and beverage cost control
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Additional
Requirements:
- Experience in a luxury hospitality environment is advantageous.
- Familiarity with South African tax laws and financial regulations.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, if required.
