Job Summary
Requirements:
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Experience in raw material inventory management (storeman or stores controller experience required).
- Stock control knowledge and strong accuracy with figures.
- Intermediate Excel proficiency.
- Ability to work independently while ensuring smooth material flow across departments.
- Strong administrative and reporting skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Key
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and expedite materials between departments to ensure uninterrupted production.
- Oversee the receiving, storage, and issuing of raw materials, maintaining accurate records.
- Implement and manage an orderly storage system, including bin management.
- Collaborate with production, planning, and procurement to prevent stock shortages.
- Supervise and train stores personnel (supervisory experience preferred but not required).
- Ensure good housekeeping, safety, and compliance within the store.
- Maintain accurate documentation for supplier evaluation, lab sampling, and deliveries.
- Update and manage Accpac, resolving stock queries and ensuring system accuracy.
- Generate and present monthly reports on supplier performance, stock levels, and deliveries.
- Oversee and adjust consignment stock, ensuring accurate balances and supplier communication.
