Job Description
- Maintain and continuously improve Quality Systems, ensuring compliance with code requirements.
- Identify and rectify gaps in the quality system and issue non-conformances for deviations.
- Assist in developing HACCP plans for all product types and drawing up product specifications.
- Support audit preparation and participate as part of the Audit Team for food safety-related audits.
- Assist the Systems Compliance Manager with pathogen and non-pathogen environmental monitoring programs.
- Conduct in-house training and environmental sessions and attend monthly quality meetings.
- Perform regular housekeeping inspections, issue non-conformances for non-compliance, and assist with internal audits and mock recalls.
- Support implementation and maintenance of the company Environmental System and assist in preparing for environmental audits.
Job Requirements:
- The successful candidate must have a minimum of a Matric Certificate and preferably a Food Science-related degree or diploma.
- At least two years of experience in the food industry, specifically in quality system implementation and maintenance.
