Online Sales consultant – onsite work

Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Online Sales Consultant to join our hardware team. Although this position manages online sales channels, it is a full-time onsite role based at our store/office. You will assist customers with online inquiries, process orders, provide technical and sales support, and help grow our online business.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage and respond to customer inquiries via online platforms (WhatsApp, email, social media, website chat, etc.).
Provide accurate product information, quotations, and technical support.
Process online orders, payments, and ensure correct invoicing.
Coordinate with warehouse/logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and order fulfillment.
Assist walk-in customers when required.
Monitor stock availability and update product listings online.
Upsell and cross-sell hardware products to increase sales.
Handle customer complaints and queries professionally and efficiently.
Track sales performance, customer satisfaction, and prepare regular reports.

Requirements & Skills:
Previous experience in sales, customer service, or online support (hardware/building materials sector is an advantage).
Strong product knowledge of tools, hardware, and building materials (or willingness to learn).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Computer literate with knowledge of online platforms, CRM, or POS systems.
Sales-driven, self-motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in hardware retail or wholesale sales.
Familiarity with e-commerce, online sales tools, or digital platforms.
