Job Summary
Are you a dynamic and detail-oriented finance professional ready to join a growing firm in the accounting and advisory space? Our client, an established financial services provider with a strong presence in South Africa and abroad, is looking for a qualified Accountant to join their team.
About the Role
You will play a critical role in delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting audit preparation, and ensuring compliance with tax and accounting regulations. The role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, client-centric environment and is keen to build a long-term career in the professional services industry.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare monthly management accounts and financial statements
-
Perform reconciliations and review general ledger entries
-
Assist with audit preparation and liaise with auditors
-
Submit VAT, PAYE, and other statutory returns
-
Provide support on tax computations and submissions
-
Advise clients on best financial practices and regulatory compliance
-
Assist with budgeting and forecasting
-
Maintain client relationships through consistent, quality service delivery
Requirements
-
BCom in Accounting or equivalent
-
Completed SAICA/SAIPA articles
-
25 years post-articles experience in a similar role
-
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., CaseWare, Xero, Sage)
-
Strong knowledge of IFRS, tax legislation, and financial regulations
-
Excellent communication and time management skills
