We are seeking an Intermediate .NET Engineer to join our clients team in South Africa. This role will focus on the development and support of origination applications and related integrations, with a strong emphasis on C#, .NET, and Azure cloud services.

You will play a key role in both project delivery and business-as-usual (BAU) activities, including feature development, incident resolution, and system maintenance. The environment is fast-paced and high-impact, supporting critical lending workflows, so a solid understanding of banking and financial services will be beneficial.

Requirements

Core Requirements

• 35 years of hands-on experience with C# and Microsoft .NET technologies (.NET Core / .NET 6+).

• Azure certification: Microsoft AZ-204 (Azure Developer Associate) required.

• Proven experience with Azure services (Functions, App Services, Service Bus, Logic Apps, API Management).

• Experience using Azure DevOps for CI/CD and automated deployments.

• Strong understanding of SQL Server, query optimization, and schema design.

• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.

• Familiarity with unit testing and integration testing frameworks.

• Solid grasp of secure coding practices and application security principles.

• Comfortable working within Agile teams and iterative delivery models.

Education & Certifications

• BSc Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate (AZ-204) required.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) desirable.
