Job Summary
Responsibilities:
Design and optimize mechanical systems for bulk materials handling, including conveyors, hoppers, crushers, feeders, and pneumatic systems. Conduct detailed mechanical analyses, including stress, thermal, and dynamic load calculations. Perform system design reviews, including 3D modeling, prototyping, and testing. Oversee the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of materials handling systems. Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations in all designs and implementations. Provide technical support during the construction, installation, and maintenance phases of bulk material handling systems. Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues in existing systems to improve reliability and performance. Collaborate with other engineering disciplines (electrical, civil, etc.) to ensure integrated project delivery. Monitor and analyze system performance to propose improvements or upgrades. Work closely with clients, suppliers, and project teams to meet project deadlines and budget requirements. Qualifications: Bachelor`s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Experience in bulk materials handling, including system design, installation, and maintenance. Strong knowledge of bulk materials handling equipment (e.g., conveyors, crushers, stackers, and reclaimers). Experience with mechanical design software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar. Knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulations related to bulk materials handling. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and team collaboration skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
