Business Consultant Corporate FX Build long-term corporate relationships in cross-border foreign exchange Corporate Foreign Exchange | Salary: Market-related About Our Client Our client is a specialist foreign exchange and international payments provider supporting South African corporates with moving funds in and out of the country. They operate in a regulated financial services environment and are known for their ethical approach, client-centric mindset, and strong partner network. The company offers an entrepreneurial culture with scope to influence growth, build meaningful client relationships, and contribute directly to business development within the corporate FX space. The Role: Business Consultant Corporate FX The Business Consultant will focus on corporate clients and introducing partners, driving foreign exchange sales and developing a sustainable pipeline of regional business. The role is responsible for achieving sales targets, managing senior client relationships, and guiding clients from initial enquiry through onboarding and trade readiness. Key Responsibilities Deliver annual and monthly sales targets aligned to the company sales strategy Develop and manage long-term relationships with key corporate clients Build and expand a regional distribution network of contacts and FX market influencers Maintain, influence, and develop senior-level relationships with FX partners and introducing advisors Generate, manage, and close a high volume of FX sales opportunities Identify client needs and provide appropriate FX solutions and services Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline for regional and corporate accounts Support introducing partners and corporate clients from enquiry to trade completion Facilitate client onboarding, including registration and KYC documentation Manage clients through to full trade readiness Prepare an annual sales plan with monthly and quarterly updates and revisions Uphold ethical standards, regulatory requirements, and best practice principles About You Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets in a high-pressure environment Strong understanding of FX sales, systems, and processes Sales experience within financial services is advantageous Entrepreneurial mindset and self-starter attitude Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong phone presence Confident in cold calling, influencing, and persuading at all levels Highly motivated, committed, and willing to go the extra mile Organized with strong diary, planning, and time management skills Team player comfortable working within a small, close-knit team Open, approachable, and professional with strong interpersonal skills Displays gravitas, emotional maturity, and confidence in client engagements Neat, professional, and presentable in appearance and manner Fast learner who adapts well to change and new demands Bilingual in English and Afrikaans is advantageous Matric qualification with regulatory exams (RE) and FAIS compliance A relevant business or legal qualification would be beneficial
