Our client has an EE opportunity available for a Business Development Consultant based in Gauteng.

Requirements:

• Completed matric.
• Relevant insurance qualification.
• Fais compliant (RE).
• Valid drivers license.
• 5 years relationship management experience.
• Experience in a direct short term insurance environment preferential.
• 3+ years short term insurance experience- essential.
• Technical insurance knowledge.

Responsibilities:

• Grow the book, stakeholder and relationship management.
• Achieve and maintain the Broker Direct strategy and deliver on targets.
• Maintain a healthy business relationship at a strategic and operational level.
• Negotiate capacity and support from other teams within the company to support new and existing Broker Direct partners.
• Responsible for all Broker Direct contracting and adherence to any governance and legislative requirements.
• Proactively identify operational or procedural obstacles, determine impact patterns and trends analysis and design best practice solutions.
• Manage effective SLAs with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure constant communication with the Business Development Manager in order to achieve targets, maintain relationships, adhere to any legislation changes etc.
