Responsibilities:
Sourcing & Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and build relationships with reliable suppliers in China to source a wide range of products. Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to secure the best deals for the business. Conduct regular supplier audits to ensure compliance with quality and company standards. Procurement Operations: Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including order placement, shipment tracking, and delivery coordination. Ensure optimal inventory levels to meet customer demands and avoid overstocking. Monitor market trends, pricing, and availability of products to maintain a competitive edge. Product Quality & Compliance: Collaborate with suppliers to ensure all products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements. Address and resolve any quality or supply chain issues promptly. Communication & Reporting: Act as a liaison between suppliers and internal teams, ensuring clear and efficient communication. Prepare and present regular procurement reports, including cost analyses and supplier performance evaluations. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline procurement processes and reduce costs. Stay updated on e-commerce industry trends and recommend new product opportunities. Minimum Qualifications & Experience: Education: Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field. Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a procurement or buying role, preferably with exposure to sourcing from China. Languages: Proficiency in English is required; the ability to speak Mandarin is highly advantageous. Technical Skills: Knowledge of procurement tools and e-commerce platforms. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Soft Skills: Strong negotiation and communication skills. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management abilities. Adaptable and able to manage multiple products in a fast-paced environment.
