Job Summary
Purpose of this position:
The primary purpose is to oversee bid processes in order to deliver a fully considered and coordinated bid for adjudication.
Responsibilities:
- Managing internal sales department.
- Managing compliance risks.
- Calculate and approve bid prices.
- Maintain updated pricelist.
- Ensure that clients provide adequate information.
- Attend tender briefing meetings.
- Co-ordinate post tender negotiations with clients.
- Manage the guarantees including letters of credit.
- Initiate internal meetings to review, design alternatives/ value management.
Minimum
Requirements:
- Diploma or BSc/BTech in Quantity Surveying or similar.
- Minimum of 5-8 years experience in the management of contracts, bids and projects within the engineering manufacturing or construction environment.
