About the Role
Join our high-performing credit team in Johannesburg, where you’ll make informed credit decisions that enable sustainable growth. As a Credit Analyst, you’ll play a key part in assessing the creditworthiness of SME and public sector clients for asset finance transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and analyse credit applications for SME and public sector clients
- Evaluate financial statements, cash flows, and qualitative risk factors
- Approve transactions within the mandate and escalate exceptions appropriately
- Monitor application pipelines and maintain accurate reporting records
- Liaise with Sales and stakeholders to provide clear credit feedback
- Contribute to credit policy adherence and continuous improvement initiatives
- Support ad-hoc projects and credit-related initiatives as required
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience in a credit analysis or credit risk role
- Solid understanding of credit lending principles and business financials
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
- Sound business and commercial acumen
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
