Job Summary
Position Overview: We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Financial Accountant to join our close-knit team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining financial accuracy, ensuring compliance, and supporting the group`s growth through robust financial management. Responsibilities:
– Manage the accounts payable process, ensuring accuracy and timely payments. – Develop and implement financial controls and procedures to enhance efficiency. – Prepare trial balance sheets, perform reconciliations, and ensure all records align. – Draft financial statements in compliance with regulatory standards. – Handle external regulatory reporting requirements and submissions. – Participate in annual external audits, ensuring readiness and compliance. – Provide detailed analysis of financial data to support decision-making. – Prepare income tax calculations and ensure timely submission. – Oversee payroll inputs to ensure accuracy and compliance. – Contribute to ad hoc projects that drive operational improvements and growth. Qualifications & Experience: – CA(SA) is essential – Proficiency in Sage 300 or MS Dynamics is highly advantageous. – Demonstrated experience in financial accounting, ideally within a multi-entity environment. – Strong knowledge of tax regulations, financial reporting standards, and audit processes. – Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. – Ability to thrive in a small, collaborative team setting.
