Who we are looking for: A talented and detail-oriented Editor with a strong background in the news industry who will be responsible for writing and editing b2b and trade articles. What will you do: Producing industry-specific, newsworthy content that meets audience needs Overseeing editorial processes and managing the team to ensure high-quality output Ensuring adherence to deadlines and budgets Developing and implementing strategic initiatives and promotional activities Managing, planning and reporting on costs for freelancers Mentoring young journalists and fostering their professional development Networking with industry contacts by attending relevant functions and events What will you need: Proven experience managing news journalists and editing publications; B2B experience is essential Ability to find, write and edit lead stories for a niche sector Tertiary qualification in communications or journalism Familiarity with production processes (subbing, proofing, layout) Strong writing skills and creative expression in both writing and design Willingness to travel as needed A valid passport, driver’s licence and access to a personal vehicle are mandatory
