About the Role
A leading plastics manufacturing company situated in Gauteng is urgently seeking an experienced Filler Technician to join their team. The successful incumbent will be responsible for maintaining and ensuring the smooth operation of various filling systems, including carbonated soft drinks, oil filling machines, water filling machines, hot liquid filling machine, blending/mixing machines, and CIP systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean, lubricate, reassemble, install and adjust fillers to meet daily and yearly maintenance requirements.
- Carbonated Soft Drinks
- Oil Filling Machines
- Water filling machines
- Hot Liquid filling machine
- Blending/ Mixing machines
- CIP Systems
Requirements
- Qualified Mechanical Fitter/Mechanical Fitter and Turner or Millwright
- Red seal Trade Test Olifantsfontein advantageous
- Understand the importance of Safety in the workplace
- Ability to travel locally and internationally for up to three months away
- Knowledge of Filling systems and Packaging lines
- Knowledge of liquid handling
- Ability to read technical drawings and manuals
- Ability to fault-find using various techniques, to achieve systemic methods of problem-solving
- Attention to detail, ability to focus and resolve various problems
- Ability to communicate at all the levels of the business
- Work well as part of a team, willingness to learn and share knowledge.
- Ability to self-manage and manage small teams during planned work.
- Knowledge of maintenance systems.
- Ability to write technical reports and compile audits- Detailed and accurate.
- Have the ability to be an ambassador for your company and promote the companys products.
- The Ability to handle conflict professionally.
