Job Summary
An innovative financial services firm is currently in search of a skilled Fixed Income Analyst to join their dynamic team in Johannesburg.
Responsibilities
- Research, analyze, and interpret macro-economic variables for investment decisions
- Communicate insights to the Fixed Income Portfolio Management and broader Investment team
- Value fixed income securities and interest rate derivatives
- Analyze bond yield curves and instrument sensitivity
- Monitor risk-adjusted returns, optimize portfolios, and enhance credit performance
- Assist in trading and administration of fixed income securities
Requirements
- 3-5 years in fixed interest, credit research, or risk management
- 3+ years fixed income experience (buy side) with proven investment track record
- Bachelors Degree in finance, economics, or related field
- Ideally pursuing CFA or FRM
- Proficient in Excel, Bloomberg, and risk systems
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
