Hire Resolve`s client, a leading investment management and advisory firm with a pan-African focus, is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Graduate Analyst to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate to gain hands-on experience in private capital markets, financial advisory services, and investment banking, while working alongside seasoned professionals across Africa.

Responsibilities

• Conduct financial analysis, research, and due diligence on transactions

• Support deal teams with pitch books and presentations

• Build and maintain financial models, forecasts, and data tools

• Analyze markets and industry trends

• Assist in transaction execution and documentation

• Collaborate across teams in corporate finance, M&A, and capital markets

• Manage data rooms and related documentation

• Prepare announcements and investor meeting materials

• Research and curate content for internal and external publications

• Update deal pipelines, presentations, and marketing materials

• Participate in meetings with investors and partners

• Conduct due diligence, including KYC and background checks

• Prepare investment memoranda and present to Investment Committee

• Benchmark financials and ensure covenant compliance

Requirements

• Degree in Economics, Business, Finance, Accounting, Investments, or related field

• Minimum of 80% in matric Mathematics and 70% in English (or equivalent A-levels)

• Prior experience in financial institutions, credit investing/analysis, or private capital is advantageous

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

• Team player with a proactive mindset

• Bonus: Proficiency in French, Portuguese, or Mandarin

Key

Responsibilities:

• Assisting with financial analysis, research, and due diligence for various transactions.
• Supporting the deal team in preparing pitch books and presentations.

Qualifications:

• Some experience in financial institutions, credit investing/analysis, or private capital investing is advantageous
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
• A proactive and team-oriented mindset
• Language skills in French, Portuguese or Mandarin are bonus, but not essential
