Job Requirements – Accurately allocate payments received through various channels and actively collect payments in accordance with company payment terms. – Assist consultants and related parties with Tourplan queries, and review the Debtors Age Analysis fortnightly, providing detailed feedback. – Attend monthly Debtors Review meetings with the reservations managers, send invoices, account statements, and payment reminders to agents. – Escalate and resolve queries following internal processes, and conduct monthly debtors reviews with Sales and DMC Managers and Directors. – Review unallocated cash weekly, perform debtors reconciliations, and complete weekly bank reconciliations and month-end processes. – Undertake ad hoc duties as required. – Proficient knowledge of Excel and general accounting principles. – Experience in preparing debtors reconciliations and resolving related queries. – Background in a debtor’s department within the hospitality industry and familiarity with Tourplan are advantageous. – Strong attention to detail, determination, patience, and excellent time management. – Outstanding communication and organisational skills, particularly in documentation and filing. – Must be a team player, deadline-driven, and able to work under pressure. – Positive, collaborative, and energetic self-starter who takes initiative and is proactive.
