About the Role

We are delighted to announce an exciting opportunity for a Credit Controller to join the esteemed Luxury Lodge Group, based in Johannesburg, Gauteng. This role offers the chance to be part of a dynamic team within the hospitality and outdoor sector, where your expertise in financial management and attention to detail will be highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

Accurately allocate payments received through various channels and actively collect payments in accordance with company payment terms.
Assist consultants and related parties with Tourplan queries, and review the Debtors Age Analysis fortnightly, providing detailed feedback.
Attend monthly Debtors Review meetings with the reservations managers, send invoices, account statements, and payment reminders to agents.
Escalate and resolve queries following internal processes, and conduct monthly debtors reviews with Sales and DMC Managers and Directors.
Review unallocated cash weekly, perform debtors reconciliations, and complete weekly bank reconciliations and month-end processes.
Undertake ad hoc duties as required.

Requirements

Proficient knowledge of Excel and general accounting principles.
Experience in preparing debtors reconciliations and resolving related queries.
Background in a debtors department within the hospitality industry and familiarity with Tourplan are advantageous.
Strong attention to detail, determination, patience, and excellent time management.
Outstanding communication and organisational skills, particularly in documentation and filing.

Qualifications

Proficient knowledge of Excel and general accounting principles (no formal education required)
