About the Role
The Head of Finance is positioned as a strategic partner and advisor to the CEO to support the sustainable expansion of our network. The role requires a highly entrepreneurial or high growth industry experience in a senior management position, with expertise in investor relations, working with Boards of Directors, and technology systems related to finance.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of company strategy across all areas of the business, challenging assumptions and decision-making as appropriate and providing financial analysis and guidance on all activities, plans, targets, and business drivers.
- Work in partnership with senior executives and ManCo on the strategic vision of the network, including identifying and developing investor relationships.
- Provide leadership to the network regarding finance, risk, compliance, accounting, and procurement strategy, aiming to optimize the company’s brand position, financial performance, and strategic position.
- Assist in the optimization of the financial model.
- Take full responsibility for the overall control of the company’s financial function.
- Take full responsibility for the overall control of the company’s procurement function.
- Ensure that company systems are robust, compliant, and support current activities and future growth.
Requirements
- At least 10 years’ experience in a highly entrepreneurial or high growth industry in a senior management position.
- Experience in investor relations.
- Experience in working with a Board of Directors.
- Experience in technology systems related to finance.
Qualifications
- Preferably a CA (SA) or minimum BCom Accounting degree with at least 15 years post articles experience.
Salary & Benefits
R 150000 – R 180000 per annum.
