Job Summary
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Manager with a background in then electrical industry to join our client. The HSE Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing health, safety, and environmental programs and policies for our electrical projects.
Key
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement health, safety, and environmental policies, procedures, and programs for electrical projects
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify and address potential hazards
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Investigate and report any incidents or accidents on site, and recommend corrective actions
- Provide safety training and education to employees and contractors
- Stay current on industry regulations and best practices related to electrical safety
- Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and participate in safety committees and forums
- Review and approve safety plans and risk assessments for electrical projects
Qualifications:
- Bachelor`s degree or Diploma in Health and Safety or related field
- Certified Health and Safety Professional (CHSP) or equivalent certification
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in health, safety, and environmental management in the electrical industry
- Strong knowledge of electrical safety regulations, codes, and standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven leadership and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team
