Job Description
Hire Resolve is excited to offer a remote opportunity for an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join a dynamic team specializing in various construction projects. This role provides the flexibility to work from home while contributing to the management and oversight of project costs and financials.
Responsibilities
- Preparing and managing project budgets and financial reports.
- Conducting cost estimates and evaluations for various construction projects.
- Overseeing subcontractor payments and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
- Managing variations and change orders effectively.
- Maintaining accurate records of project costs, claims, and agreements.
- Collaborating with project managers and stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Delivering timely and insightful financial analysis to support decision-making processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in quantity surveying.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies and cost management processes.
- Proficient in quantity surveying software and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
- Familiarity with relevant contracts and legal aspects in the construction industry.
