Job Summary
In order to apply, you will need to have the following: Either a Matric with a Bachelors pass and Core Mathematics as a subject with either CAT, IT or EGD as subjects. OR A degree or diploma in Informatics or related field or Logistics AND Matric with a Bachelors pass and Core Mathematics as a subject with either CAT, IT or EGD as subjects A drivers license with own transport is preferable. If not available initially, every effort must be made to obtain this within the first 6 months Excellent communications skills and ability to easily engage with people at all levels. IT and programming skills will be an advantage We are looking for confident, diligent, hard working individuals who are keen to kick start their career in IT project management and implementations. As an Intern Implementation Consultant you will be trained to and be involved in supporting projects/solution delivery from initial kick off to after go- live. You will be involved in but not limited to the following: Delivering under extreme pressure and within deadlines Assisting clients with implementing solutions, Right First Time Training clients to use solutions effectively Test any new functionality that has been developed Assist clients with UAT (User Acceptance Testing) Training: (onsite and off-site) You should possess the following skills and traits: Confidence, diligence, strong work ethic Excellent problem solving skills Think outside the box Excellent communication skills both written and verbally, with the ability to engage at all levels and with guidance, able to extract required information from clients regarding their specific requirements Experience working with MS Office suite including Word, Excel Documentation skills Team player Quick learner Attention to detail Be flexible to work on weekends or after hours for go live, or reasonable requests from clients
