About the Role
Join our dynamic team as a Junior Sales Engineer and contribute to driving revenue growth in the construction, consulting, and IPP fields across South Africa, Zambia, and Tanzania. As a proactive individual with a deep understanding of the industry, you will expand our clients’ reach, cultivate strategic partnerships, and communicate highly complex technical information to customers and clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify potential leads through research, networking, and outreach
- Develop targeted sales pitches and presentations to effectively communicate the company’s value proposition
- Promote and sell equipment, products, and solutions to prospective and current clients using technical knowledge and commercial training
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs, and anticipating future requirements
- Prepare, schedule, coordinate, assign, and monitor allocated enquiries, quotations, orders, projects, and deliveries
Requirements
- 2 years of sales-related experience within a technical or engineering environment
- Fluency in spoken and written English (French an advantage)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks, set priorities, work independently and well in a team, and perform under pressure
- Excellent computer skills
Qualifications
- Open to graduates of technical disciplines: mechanical, electrical, instrumentation
