Job Summary

The ideal candidate is passionate about web development, eager to learn, and has a strong foundation in WordPress, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a variety of projects, collaborate with experienced developers, and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced agency environment. Responsibilities Assist in the development and maintenance of WordPress websites, including theme and plugin customisation. Work on custom web design projects, ensuring responsive and visually appealing layouts. Support the development of custom web applications using modern front-end and back-end technologies. Debug and troubleshoot issues across different browsers and devices. Optimise website performance, security, and user experience. Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality digital solutions. Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies. Requirements Advanced understanding of WordPress (theme and plugin customisation). Basic understanding of PHP. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Familiarity with front-end frameworks like Bootstrap. Knowledge of version control systems such as Git. Basic understanding of website performance optimisation and SEO principles. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication skills and a willingness to learn. Bonus skills (not required, but a plus) Experience with PHP and WordPress theme/plugin development. Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks like React or Vue.js. Familiarity with REST APIs and third-party integrations. Experience with custom web or app development. Understanding of UI/UX principles.
