Hire Resolve`s Client is seeking a Legal Manager with experience in Contracts and Property to join their team. To manage and oversee legal, compliance, and contract management functions while ensuring the organization adheres to relevant legislation. Responsible for drafting, negotiating, structuring, vetting, interpreting, executing, and administering contractual documents. Serve as a brand ambassador by embodying core values such as teamwork, striving for excellence, integrity, and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage and oversee legal, compliance, and contract management functions.
2. Ensure organizational compliance with relevant legislation.
3. Draft, negotiate, structure, vet, interpret, execute, and administer contractual documents.
4. Act as a brand ambassador by upholding and promoting the organizations core values: teamwork, striving for excellence, integrity, and sustainability.

Requirements

1. Educational Qualifications:
   • Matric (Grade 12).
   • BA LLB or B Proc degree.
2. Professional Credentials:
   • Admitted Attorney with a minimum of 5 years of post-admission experience.
3. Experience:
   • Proficiency in business law, property management, lease agreements, and related legal areas.
   • Knowledge of debt collection legislation and regulations.
   • Familiarity with key acts, including:
     • Property Practitioners Act
     • Companies Act
     • Rental Housing Act
     • Deeds Registry Act
     • Electronic Deeds Registration Systems Act
     • Occupational Health and Safety Act
     • Consumer Protection Act
     • Protection of Personal Information Act
     • Financial Intelligence Act
     • Value Added Tax Act
     • National Credit Act
     • Debt Collections Act
     • Magistrate Court Act
     • National Energy Act

Skills and Competencies:

• Strong legal research skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and deliver results.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, MDA programs, and related applications.
• Effective planning, organizing, and time management abilities.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
