Job Summary
Our client is seeking a M&A associate to join their team in Harare, Zimbabwe.
Responsibilities:
Preparing pitches and presentations for origination and deal implementation activities. Creating and maintain financial models and perform valuations for our client and capital raising transactions. Preparing selling documents for transactions – information memos and teasers. Supporting the deal due diligence process including managing the dataroom and bidder information requests. Assisting in the preparation of other transaction documents and coordinating with other advisors where required. Engaging with clients and potential bidders and investors. Preparing KYC and background checks prior to client onboarding. Managing and training junior team members and overseeing their work. Qualifications: Degree level qualifications in Economics, Business, Finance, Accounting, Investments or similar. Minimum matric mathematics: 80%; Minimum matric English: 70%; or equivalent A-levels. 3-5 years of experience in a corporate finance / transaction advisory / private equity space.
