Location: Industria Johannesburg Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and reliable Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, repairing, and maintaining company vehicles, machinery, and equipment to ensure optimal performance, safety, and minimal downtime. Key Responsibilities Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on vehicles, machinery, and equipment Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out effective repairs Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance to reduce breakdowns Maintain accurate service and repair records Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures Order and manage spare parts and tools where required Respond to breakdowns and provide technical support when necessary Keep the workshop clean, organized, and safe Requirements Qualified Mechanic (Trade Test essential) Minimum 25 years relevant experience Strong mechanical knowledge and fault-finding skills Experience with industrial, diesel, or automotive equipment (advantageous) Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Good time-management and communication abilities
