Job Summary
Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement operational and life-cycle strategies for portfolio assets, ensuring long-term sustainability. Project Management: Lead and manage various facilities-related projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets. SLA & Vendor Management: Oversee the management and awarding of contracts, ensuring compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) and maintaining high standards of service. Financial Oversight: Handle CAPEX budgeting, financial reviews, and ensure alignment with financial goals. Utility & Maintenance Management: Manage utility consumption, implement a 3-year rolling maintenance plan, and ensure day-to-day and abnormal maintenance is carried out effectively. Audit & Compliance: Ensure compliance with legislative requirements through regular audits and act as custodian of policies, procedures, and standards. Centre Management: Collaborate closely with Centre management, sharing best practices, driving operational improvements, and maintaining open communication with all stakeholders. Leadership: Provide guidance to facilities and operational teams, managing performance, succession planning, and fostering continuous development. Problem Solving: Address high-risk issues and provide innovative solutions to operational challenges. Experience / Education: Minimum of 8 years` experience in Facilities and Operations Management . Proven project management experience in facilities management. Strong understanding of CAPEX management , budgeting, financial reviews, and utility management. Experience in creating and executing a 3-year maintenance plan and conducting regular audits. Qualification: Engineering degree/diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or relevant technical qualification with at least 10 years of practical experience in an engineering and/or built environment. Skills & Knowledge Required: Expertise in vendor and contract management, ensuring compliance with SLA requirements. In-depth knowledge of legislation, industry standards, and regulations . Proficient in financial management, budgeting , and auditing principles. Problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure. Strong customer service orientation, ensuring client satisfaction. Competencies: Leadership and team management, fostering collaboration and performance excellence. High proficiency in communication, strategic thinking , and organizational planning. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines. Customer service focus is essential. Relationships: Internal: Portfolio Manager, Site Administrator, Security, Cleaning, Handymen. External: Contractors, Landlords, Tenants, Service Contractors.
