Job Description

KEY REQUIREMENTS TO MEET FOR CONSIDERATION: You will have a tertiary qualification in Engineering, ideally Electrical or Mechatronics, coupled with 5 years management experience specifically on a regional or national level in the production technologies sector. A strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical control systems is essential. You will have a solid background in team motivation, leadership and mentorship across multiple branches, both in SA and internationally, and be able to provide support to these teams to achieve customer satisfaction and the highest standards. You will have a proven track record in overall technical management across the business, travel with teams to provide technical insight and assistance with complex installations at customer sites and implement new systems, processes and procedures across the branches. You will be a planning whizz, be able to draft training programmes and identify areas for improvement or business growth. Travel forms a large part of this role, both nationally and internationally, therefore flexibility to travel and be away from home for lengthy periods is required. Fluency in English is critical. You must have a valid drivers licence, own car and a clear criminal and credit record Please note that should you not be currently resident in the region and area advertised but still wish to apply, the cost of travel for interviews and relocation will be for your expense.
