Job Description
- Record day-to-day financial transactions, including invoices, receipts, and payments
- Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy of ledgers
- Assist in preparing financial statements and reports
- Support payroll processing and expense claims
- Maintain organized and accurate financial records
- Collaborate with senior accountants and management on financial matters
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
Requirements:
- Matric plus a relevant bookkeeping or accounting qualification (e.g., Certificate in Bookkeeping, SAIBA, or similar)
- 2-3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Proficiency in accounting software (Pastel, QuickBooks, Xero, or similar)
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Good communication and organizational skills
