Johannesburg North: Field Service Engineer posted by Communicate Finance

• Install, maintain, and repair analytical instruments such as ICP, GC, GC-MS, LC, and IC systems
• Perform troubleshooting and calibration to meet compliance standards
• Deliver on-site technical support and training to clients
• Document service activities and maintain accurate records
• Collaborate with internal teams for technical upgrades and customer feedback

Skills and experience

• Hands-on experience with analytical instruments (ICP, GC, GC-MS, LC, IC)
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple service calls
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Familiarity with electronics and mechanical systems in instrumentation

Qualification:

• National Diploma or Degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, or chemical Engineering
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in field service or instrumentation support
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel
