• Prepare monthly financial statements, management accounts, and supporting schedules.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure compliance with IFRS.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Handle fixed asset management, including additions, disposals, and depreciation.
• Oversee accruals, prepayments, and month-end close processes.
• Support external audits, internal audits, and statutory reporting requirements.
• Engage with operational and distribution teams to ensure financial data accuracy.
• Drive process improvements, cost control initiatives, and financial efficiencies.
• Assist with stock accounting, shrinkage analysis, and supply-chain-related financial reviews.

Minimum Requirements:

• BCom Accounting or equivalent.
• SAICA/SAIPA articles advantageous.
• 3–5 years’ experience as a Financial Accountant (distribution, FMCG, or retail industry beneficial).
• Strong IFRS knowledge and experience with high-volume financial environments.
• Advanced Excel and ERP system experience (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
