Johannesburg North: Financial Accountant (Shared Services) posted by Network Finance

• Prepare and review monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and internal financial policies.
• Drive month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes for designated business units.
• Oversee general ledger accuracy, including journals, accruals, and prepayments.
• Support statutory and internal audits by preparing audit packs and responding to queries.
• Manage intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Improve and standardise financial processes within the Shared Services division.
• Collaborate with AP/AR, payroll, stock, and operations teams to ensure data integrity.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting.
• Identify risk areas, implement controls, and support finance transformation initiatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• BCom Accounting or equivalent.
• Completed articles (SAICA/SAIPA) advantageous.
• 3–5 years’ experience in a Financial Accountant role.
• Shared Services, FMCG, or Retail experience beneficial.
• Strong understanding of IFRS and financial controls.
• Advanced Excel and ERP experience (SAP or similar).
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
