Our client is a leading financial institution that thrives on innovation, robust risk management, and data-driven insights. They’re looking for a Model Validation Analyst (Decision Science) to validate and challenge models across credit risk, finance, capital modelling, and fraud detection. Key Responsibilities:
 

• Conduct end-to-end validation of credit risk, financial, and fraud models.
• Build and assess challenger models to ensure accuracy, robustness, and compliance.
• Apply data mining and predictive modelling techniques to support validation.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to ensure models remain fit-for-purpose.
• Support regulatory compliance and sound risk management through rigorous model assurance.

 
Job Experience and Skills Required:
 

• 3–6 years’ experience in scorecard development, validation, and monitoring (credit risk application/behavior models or marketing).
• Strong understanding of the full credit life cycle.
• Hands-on experience in data mining, predictive analytics, and model building.
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work across multiple model types.
• Collaborative mindset with proven ability to engage across technical and business teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, or Data Science (Honors or postgraduate degree preferred).
