Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-end payroll processing for permanent and contract teams
- Maintain and update records in SAP – time management, authorisations and employee data
- Manage employee benefits including medical aid, pensions, 13th cheques and bonuses
- Ensure compliance with tax legislation, labour laws and internal payroll policies
- Provide employee engagement and support around payroll-related matters
- Deliver accurate reports and payroll analysis using advanced Excel tools
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- BCom Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 5+ years’ experience in a full-function payroll role
- Commercial or industrial sector experience
- Proficiency in SAP, Sage, or other large ERP systems
- Advanced Excel – pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas, reporting dashboards
- Strong understanding of labour legislation, tax, and payroll compliance
- Detail-driven, process-focused, and able to meet tight deadlines
- Clear communicator and problem solver
