Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and experienced PLC SCADA Project Engineer to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the design, installation, and commissioning of automation systems, including PLC and SCADA systems, for various industrial applications. You will be responsible for managing end-to-end automation projects, ensuring that solutions meet client specifications and industry standards.
Key
Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and program PLC and SCADA systems for various automation projects.
- Lead and manage the execution of PLC and SCADA-based projects from initiation through to completion.
- Coordinate with clients and internal teams to ensure all project requirements and timelines are met.
- Develop control system architectures, electrical schematics, and HMI/SCADA interfaces.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues during system installation, commissioning, and operation.
- Provide technical support and training to clients on PLC/SCADA systems.
- Conduct system testing, validation, and optimization to ensure efficient performance.
- Monitor project progress, prepare technical documentation, and provide project status reports.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, Automation, or a related engineering field.
- Proven experience as a PLC SCADA Project Engineer, or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in PLC programming (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Schneider, etc.) and SCADA systems (Wonderware, Ignition, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of industrial automation, control systems, and HMI design.
- Experience with communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, etc.).
- Knowledge of electrical design, control systems, and instrumentation.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
