Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Collaboration & Requirements Gathering
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather project requirements, understand user needs, and align objectives to deliver impactful mobile applications.
- Mobile App Development
- Develop, implement, and maintain mobile applications using the React Native framework, ensuring clean, high-quality, and maintainable code.
- UI/UX Implementation
- Transform wireframes, designs, and prototypes into functional, user-friendly applications with a focus on UI/UX excellence.
- Performance Optimization
- Ensure smooth operation and fast loading times across various devices and screen sizes by optimizing app performance.
- Debugging & Troubleshooting
- Diagnose and resolve app-related issues, troubleshoot bugs, and maintain app stability and security.
- Stay Current with Trends
- Keep up-to-date with the latest React Native advancements, mobile development trends, and industry best practices, applying new knowledge to enhance processes and solutions.
- Effective Communication
- Collaborate with team members, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure the timely and successful delivery of projects.
Functional Outputs & Activities
- Code Implementation: Write clean, reusable, and efficient code for React Native applications.
- App Performance & Compatibility: Ensure consistent app performance and compatibility across Android and iOS platforms.
- Bug Fixing & Issue Resolution: Resolve bugs and optimize application performance for stability and reliability.
- Code Review & Feedback: Conduct and participate in code reviews to uphold coding standards and share constructive feedback with the team.
- Documentation: Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for codebases, development processes, and best practices.
Required Skills
- React Native Proficiency: Deep understanding of the React Native framework and its core principles.
- Mobile Development Expertise: Extensive experience building cross-platform mobile apps for both Android and iOS.
- Front-End Technologies: Proficient in JavaScript, JSX, HTML, and CSS, with experience using RESTful APIs and state management tools like Redux or Context API.
- Version Control: Hands-on experience with Git or similar version control systems.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities to resolve bugs and optimize performance.
- Cross-Platform Development Knowledge: Familiarity with the unique challenges of building and maintaining cross-platform applications.
- Testing & Debugging: Experience in writing unit tests and using debugging tools to ensure high-quality application delivery.
Qualifications and Experience
- Education: Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years as a React Native Developer or similar role, with a strong portfolio of mobile applications built using React Native.
- Solid understanding of mobile app design principles and UI/UX best practices.
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.
- Experience with Flutter is a bonus.
