About the Role
Our client is a leading online educational institution dedicated to providing high-quality education through innovative and engaging learning experiences. They are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Economics Teacher for Grades 10-12.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, engaging Economics lessons to students in an online format.
- Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies that leverage technology to enhance learning.
- Create and manage online course materials, including lesson plans, assignments and assessments.
- Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback and support to ensure academic success.
- Facilitate interactive and collaborative learning experiences through virtual platforms.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in Economics education and online teaching methodologies.
- Maintain regular communication with students, parents, and colleagues to support student learning and wellbeing.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to continuously improve teaching skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- BED or PGCE
- SACE registration is essential
- Experience with the IEB curriculum is highly advantageous.
- A minimum of 3 years full-time teaching experience required
