Operations Supervisor Report To: Operations Seniority Level: Mid-Career (2 – 4 yrs exp) Type: Temp PRIMARY PURPOSE(S) OF POSITION: Supervises the work of warehouse personnel, overseeing general warehouse operations, inventory management, and ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality procedures. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Manage warehouse functions according to company policies Ensure receiving and dispatch functions are executed efficiently Meet objectives and targets Understand and manage the DC budget Develop team members and manage employee relations Ensure adequate resources for daily operations Maintain warehouse equipment and vehicles Adhere to SHEQ principles Ensure housekeeping, safety, and quality standards are met Collaborate in maintaining reports and documentation Obey lawful duties and instructions JOB REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS: Leadership skills Judgment/decision-making skills Organisation/planning skills Communication skills SUPERVISION RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervise direct and indirect reports EDUCATION: Minimum/Essential: 3 year Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain EXPERIENCE: Minimum/Essential: 2 years experience in Supply Chain/Logistics Expertise in SAP, SAP BW, SAP WMS Strong supply chain and business knowledge
