Job Summary
Job Overview:
As the Hotel Custodian of 10 2nd Avenue Houghton Estate, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the hotel`s operations to ensure the highest standards of service and guest satisfaction. Your role will require exceptional attention to detail and a comprehensive understanding of food and beverage operations, front office management, housekeeping, OTA (Online Travel Agency) management, sales, and marketing. You will be an all-rounder with the ability to lead and inspire a team to deliver exceptional experiences to our guests. Key
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all hotel operations, including food and beverage, front office, housekeeping, OTA management, sales, and marketing.
- Ensure that all departments operate efficiently and effectively to meet and exceed guest expectations.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue, increase occupancy, and enhance the hotel`s reputation.
- Monitor and analyse financial performance, budgets, and KPIs to make data-driven decisions.
- Lead and mentor a diverse team of staff, fostering a positive work environment and promoting professional growth.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, maintenance, and safety throughout the hotel.
- Build and maintain relationships with guests, suppliers, and partners to drive business growth and customer loyalty.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
- 3 years minimum of 5-star Hotel operations and leadership experience in a similar position.
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets.
- Demonstrated ability to drive revenue and improve operational efficiency.
- Excellent understanding of sales and marketing strategies and plans.
- In-depth knowledge of hotel management software and industry best practices.
- Excellent track record of the Food and Beverage department.
- Excellent track record of the Rooms Divisions department (Front Office and Housekeeping)
- Valid drivers license.
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of OTAs
